When you do PPV VOD on a per minute basis, you are diluting the value of the product. Why would any schmuck go out and buy a DVD for even $19.95 when they can score a few money shots for fuckin' $2???????? They won't...
Absolutely true...some people would say the same thing about splitting movies up into scenes for VOD as well, but I think scenes should be the basic unit of porn. Folks could argue that there's no difference, i.e. that scenes are just minutes in a predetermined quantity, but I think the line has to be drawn somewhere.
