The larger companies don't seem to have a clue what to do with it and as budgets shrink, the ability to "do something different" pretty much evaporates for some of the marginal types jumping on the bandwagon. The audience it caters to seem all too willing to simply download copies for free off the net, so I'm not sure if it will ever be financially viable.
