Burg - It bothers me that you take this stuff to heart. You did kind of line yourself up for it though. You would think that a guy who has faced the kind of difficulties you have in your life would divert from the kind of piling on that Lockwood has enjoyed. Best just to steer clear - no? The usual collection are swinging their piniata sticks plenty hard.

As for Kurt - I think, impartially, that he has held up pretty well. He has gone over the top a few times, but generally his work has been in keeping with the general flavor of the menu offered here at xxxpt.
