Ravyn, I have to call you out about giving Kurt a fair shake. You posted a day or two after the Gram incident to XFANZ for sure and I think DVD Talk as well that you were “waiting for an explanation of his behavior.†This was prior to your interview with him, so clearly there was no thought of “a fair shake†in that statement. Furthermore, you were pleased with your interview and thanked him more than once. You also posted to his MySpace and Group several times posts that could be described as sycophantic, most recently to a Boogie Nights blog on July 19th. So if there’s Kool Aid to be drunk you must partake along with us. It goes great with scones.
Claire:
First off I seldom post on Xfanz and I don't recall ever posting that over there or on DVD Talk's forum to begin with.It seems to me you have a bit of a stalker in you as well. The way I treated him during the interview was with the same professional courtesy I do everyone.I do not mix work with my own personal opinions. Unlike you , I can keep both my work and my play time separate. Yes I wished him luck with Boogie Night as I do anyone, its called journalistic professionalism.
I have noticed that you and your friends have spent a lot of time on here. Suggestion if you are really his "friend" as you all claim that you are.. get him back on his meds and focused. I do have a legitimate question to ask of Kurt... Why a remake of American Gig? Do you not have it inside of yourself to be original and produce something of your own? Now as to me drinking the kool-aid.. sorry chica.. this girl here is way to smart to be caught in that trap. I can play the sneak just like everyone else does and damn good at it. Remember,, Keep your friends closer.. and your enemies closer still..
