Claire, is it absurd to point out what a loose cannon Kurt is? Is it absurd to use examples of his behavior that demonstrate what so many people say about him? Is it absurd to hold a mirror up to the guy and ask his supporters if they really think they are his "friends", most of whom know him from his limited interactions on fansites?

If it offends you that I marginalized a few of you with terms like slavering fangirl, consider the semantics for a moment. If you're going to defend a guy that assaults and threatens others, at least acknowledge the kind of guy you're supporting as a friend. Being a "fan" allows you to recognize the guy's faults while being a slavering fangirl differs in that you come across as worshiping the ground he walks on and believe he does no wrong. XPT is not Kurt's alter to worship him and wearing rose colored glasses about all he has done, said, or threatened to do makes you the marginalized personality you find so offensive. You can think for yourself and realize that whatever "sides" have been presented, there is likely a middle ground that allows you to look at the evidence and come to a conclusion supported by fact rather than your "friendship".

One last time, Kurt and his minions have happily written and approved an article in Wikipedia (an extremely popular website) that highlighted his given name, date of birth, and other personal information. I wouldn't have posted it otherwise. If he has a problem with my obscure comment on a website not particularly well read, why haven't he or his followers edited the article on that website?
(and it's funny to see that he has obsessed enough to continually respond all over XPT while claiming others that do so far more moderately are the ones with issues...what a maroon!)
