There are 3 defendants in this case. Alain Elmaleh and 2 of his companies, Kaytel and Leisure World. We have records of many of the existing assets.

Beyond that, we'll see how it goes. Sadly, our attorney Mr. Gelbard lost a family member yesterday, so we won't be disturbing him with questions like this this weekend. Despite that justice was done, we owe this victory to him and the co-counsel (Sean Macias) and their persistence and their dedication to knowing every fact of this case by heart.

My impression is that even if the defendant files for bankruptcy, it is possible for assets to legally be sold off to be used as payment.
