I was just asking if you don't care about having your projects reviewed, which is what it sounds like you said. Some people don't--usually web-based companies and, from what it seems, Jules Jordan. I have no problem with that, it's just part of my job to find out. For example, I couldn't care less what B/G you're in, but we might want to do a feature on something you directed, as we do with SexZ regularly. If you don't care, I can cross your projects off my "possibles" list. It's just business, and in no way disingenuous.
Don't go using facts on the guy; he doesn't understand how in the current market a director needs to get his message out to paying customers like those that buy magazines. In the case of this one though, why waste the ink when the other directors at the company do a much better job directing and/or performing?
As far as Jules is concerned, he's very sharp about marketing but you have to be prepared to answer his questions about readership and market. As a means of breaking down some barriers, you might want to interview him first and let the attention speak for itself.
