Sadly they are far behind in the UK with treating transsexuals. The UK had to be sued by the European Union to finally have them recognize transsexuality as a legitimate medical condition. Only in 2004 in the "Gender Recognition Act" they introduced legislation to allow for name change, treatment, surgery etc...that's almost a century after the first "sex changes" recorded in "modern western history".

Dr Green is an evil old man who like an old-fashioned dictator presides over all health policies regarding transsexuals in the UK. It's all about power for him and care is lousy.

Acts like this one speak of desperation in face of an indifferent/hostile establishment in the UK.
