I use harlot a lot as well. Either way, I've been using them both liberally long before I ever strung a bunch of run-on sentences together and called it a press release.

You can slip 'harlot' or 'trollop' by many a...harlot or trollop and usually they are none the wiser.

My favorite: I wrote to one an e-mail and called her a trollop. The next time I saw her she said "what the hell is a 'troll pop'?"
