You are SO WRONG ON THIS. Threats come from the left AND right and attack anything outside the status quo. I was equally attacked during my own shenanigans by far left Femi-Nazis and Campus Crusade for Christ...the one difference though?

The far left realized the battle could not be won and moved on to other fights; the religious zealots on the right continued as if driven by some odd mystical force and intensified their fights even paying the cash to get Micheal Leahy to "preach" at UCSD.

Its no different at other college campuses.
