This entire thread is giving me mild diarrhea. I just don't get the frenzy here people.

I didn't really care either way. I was just trying to get him to answer my third question which was I think "who reviews the ad content?". When he answered that he reviewed the ads then I was going to nudge this thread into a different direction dealing with his tacit approval of the smut filth his other advertisers peddle.

No Luke. I'm just someone who's deeply concerned with the expansive growth of the religious right. And, at a time when the Administration is launching a record number of prosecutions against the industry, I think we all should be concerned when Porn's leading blogger suddenly gets into bed with the Jesus Freaks' most visible spokesperson.
And considering that Shelley has no registered organization anywhere, not to mention any visible means of income, the question of who paid the bill is more than appropriate.
You can do what you want. Luke. It's a free country. But at the same time, I can choose not to read your site if you're taking money from Dobson & Co. And I can encourage others to stop reading your site too. Again, that's what the Jesus Freaks would do. What's good for the goose...
Anyway, I wish you the best, and maybe this new alliance of yours will help lift you out of the hovel. Get you a better car, maybe allow you to eat steak every once in a while. Mazel Tov, old buddy.

What exactly are you afraid of? The greatest threats to our freedoms comes from the left, which wants to increasingly regulate speech (see college campuses), who you can hire and fire (that teachers who decide to cross-dress not be allowed to fire etc in CA, that's a bill).

This is not an alliance. I have ads to all sorts of pornographers on my site and I am not allied with them, even though I am closer to many of them than I am to Shelley.
This is not new. I grew up among the Religious Right. Many of my friends are on the Religious Right. I am on the Religious Right.
Being friends with Jesus freaks is not new for me. I grew up among Jesus freaks. Many of my friends from childhood are Jesus freaks.
I try to be friendly with everybody who can stomach me, be they law enforcement, anti-porn crusaders, pornographers, druggies etc... I have been covering those who hate porn, and at times hanging out with them, for as long as I've covered porners.
