Christ, Gia are you living in my head? I caught a ride into work this morning and the dude played nothing but horrible 80s bands like Depeche Mode and such. Then to top it off, he played 3, yes three, diferrent versions of that song in the Geico Caveman "Airport" commercial. I couldn't take it and started going off on everything having to do with the eighties. Musiuc, clothing, TV. It ALL sucked.
Let's burn every Family Ties DVD in existence.

Hey now, I love Depeche Mode. A lot of good music came outta the 80's, but a lot of bad shit did too. What you should really be against are these whiny-emo brats who were born in 1989 or later, and think that they're hip for 'discovering' music we actually listened to when it was new.

I always thought being hip was a good thing. Like successful or successful looking people who hang out at The Standard hotel on Sunset Blvd etc. But then Gia started saying how she hates hipsters and that she was glad there aren't any in her new hometown of Beverly Hills. And now this clearly marks the end of a movement.
So, just like Conky I had to make sure I'm not a hipster, or no longer a hipster... and not headed for Williamsburg.
Turns out, I never was. (Urban Dictionary: "hipster")
