Worse than Hello Larry was another show that appeared on NBC at its nadir: Pink Lady and Jeff. Jeff was comedian Jeff Altman, and Pink Lady were a cute and hugely successful Japanese duo (think a pop version of Cibo Matte). Hugely successful only in Japan though. PL&J was a sketch and music show and the girls had to read transliterations of their scripts because they knew no English. The show was more of a train wreck than Supertrain could ever be.
