I play online and play for money. Typically I buy in for around 200 and cash out once I run it up to $1000 or more. I play Partypoker and less often, Full Tilt
That said, I am 100% convinced of the 'cashout curse'. Every single time I cash out most of my stack, the 'remainder' is toast in the very next session.
The problem with the so-called 'doom-switch' is that online poker is a zero-sum game (except for the rake). If you lose, the house doesn't get anymore money - someone loses on every hand, the house only wants the action.
I am open to anyone's analysis as to how to reconcile these divergent concepts.
