Because it's anybodys game, you won't be on top for long. If this idiot did start with $300, he should have retired when he won big. There's only one place for him to go, and it's not up.

I play online a lot, but never for real money. Trusting these poker websites and their card generators is fucking insane. Anyone that loses real money playing online poker deserves it.

i play at jokerstars and fulltilt. jokerstars is obscene with some of the crazy suck outs some players get. like, once in a life time hand getting beat by once in a millennia hand.

I play online and play for money. Typically I buy in for around 200 and cash out once I run it up to $1000 or more. I play Partypoker and less often, Full Tilt

That said, I am 100% convinced of the 'cashout curse'. Every single time I cash out most of my stack, the 'remainder' is toast in the very next session.

The problem with the so-called 'doom-switch' is that online poker is a zero-sum game (except for the rake). If you lose, the house doesn't get anymore money - someone loses on every hand, the house only wants the action.

I am open to anyone's analysis as to how to reconcile these divergent concepts.

edit obviously you are, i cashed out roughly 9k from party in 2 months and i wish i could still play there gl.

the rake is easily beatable at ftp, you can get tons of hands in per hour multitabling and the max you are paying is 3$ at a full ring game, gl and dont play drunk like me
