This is NOTHING compared to what happened when a few UCSD message boards caught wind that the newest Asian gonzo sensation, Evelyn Lin, was a current student.

I tried to refrain from mentioning her too much as she wished to keep her privacy (with most of this shit storm starting about a year ago), but after just glossing over it in a thread a few weeks back about Lurk Ford's journalism skills after he interviewed her, he then filled in the blanks with her name and school on his site (and my quote on LIB). Guess that was alright as it freed me up to discuss and not feel *too* guilty about putting her name and school together.

It all happened on sduncensored.com (a UCSD message board) and after the thread "outting" her started, her angry boy friend threatened to "sue" the site for something ridiculous like defamation of character and invasion of privacy (and it was tame too...I can't imagine what he would have done if XPT got a hold of it). I guess he had no problem with her getting DP'd for Red Light District her second scene in the business, but a UCSD board discussing her made him go batty ape shit bonkers.

I'm sure you can search for past threads for some real keepers as it dragged on with new developments for months; at the time I was surprised it wasn't picked up more by the "adult" press. It kind of culminated in her editing her wikipedia entry to say she was attending UCLA with a poster on sduncensored looking at her IP address (saved when she made the wiki edits and publicly available) and posting her UCSD.edu e-mail IP using her REAL NAME that was publicly posted on wikipedia.

I thought it was a super interesting story; California is one of the few states where students in public universities do have protection of speech and actions covered under the First Amendment on and off campus, so the school would be hard pressed to take any disciplinary action as long as she wasn't using any copyrighted logos or similar small things. I'm still not sure why she didn't run with it after it all came out she was a college student, but who knows (She was the "real deal" when it comes to a college adult star and a pretty good one at that...fuck that lying cunt Casey Parker and the fraudsters and shylocks at Shane's World ).
