This is my first post here so ill try to keep it short and to the point. I'm going to take issue with what you've said here. Porn is a business first last and always and I would say it is a hard business to be in, yet whether someone finds it distasteful for repellent is not the issue ,whatever the uses for porn are for men - and women who choose to view it is for their own reasons.

Generalizing as you have done is nothing more that the usual blanket statement that implies something , but really says nothing.

You also alluded to the fact that people use porn to exercise the sex-drive, and so?. Sex is not primary reason why people get married and deal with the 'hassles' you spoke. People marry for a variety of reason, security, money, status and from time to time actual love.

The confusion I think you have is that you are looking for that kind of commitment within the porn business. Porn isn't about marriage, it isn't about having children, porn is a business that caters to fantasy. Once you are able to divide the two you may be a bit happier
