The thig is what is Kerry going to do any differently with regards to Iraq. He won't pull the troops out and the UN won't send troops into that mess no matter what BS they say now. So what will the difference be without Bush?

Well the difference might not be very much as far as the war is concerned, but aside from that conundrum, at least we won't have right wing extremists in office anymore.

Well on some issues, especially foriegn affairs I don't think he is right wing enough. As far as his being extremist I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I usually just decide which person fits my views better and then vote for him, lately it's been republicans.

I'll tell you the truth Smutmutant, I wish we could somehow abolish all political party names in this country and make the citizens research the candidates positions before voting. The way it is now it is too easy for people to say I'm a Democrat so I must vote that way or I am a Rep. so I must vote that way.
Examine each candidate on your key issues use a system of pros and cons to determine who you want to vote for.

Yeah, this two party system is getting absurd. We need more options. You'd think I'd lean more towards the liberal side of the spectrum, but 8 years of Clinton/Gore ruined that possibility. The thing I don't like about the Republicans is their pandering to the Christian right(wrong) who would love to infringe our right to smut any way they can, but on other topics I tend to see it more the Republican way esp. on the 2nd Amendment and state's rights... You may be asking; "hmmm, a porn critic that actually knows his politics?", but I suggest all common sense perverts out there to be aware and avoid knee-jerk reactions by scoping out the real truth. However, Ashcroft better keep his mitts off my smut, beeaatch!

That's exactly how I feel about it. On free speech I'm a lefty although I am not so sure that is a good indicator anymore because I have a feeling a lot of Dems don't like adult entertainment either, especially the female Dems. but on world affairs and some other issues the repubs fit me better.

The scary thing is that the christian right and feminist left have virtually the same view on porn which is: they hate it & would love to do away with it. odd bedfellows? you bet.. so fuck em!
