From what I've been led to believe, "Bobo" (his pet name at the show this year by a couple of his performer pals) is simply introduced as "media". Getting favorable attention from anyone in the media helps set a performer up to address her basic needs (more attention=more money, a means to get favorable press without slobbing the guy's knob as at some industry publications, and the "princess factor" since most women like being kissed up to).

Bono's no more of a star maker than anyone else at ADT or the other websites but he's harmless enough and seems to like the ladies enough, but not too much (most of you would be doing anything to get laid on a set from what I gather) so what's the harm? As far as his pictures, I'll admit guilt for taking several for him at the AEE this year; a courtesy I extend to a lot of others wanting a memento with a performer at the shows, so how shitty some of them might look is my fault (my pictures sometimes make Luke's look good by comparison when using a familiar camera, never mind one I've never seen before, but I'll be the first to admit that Jack's shots looked great by comparison).
