I think a candidate like Rudy who can peel off votes in the northeast and other liberal enclaves scares the crap out of Hillary. He might not win NY bu it will be competitive which means she has to spend assets where she doesn't want to. Rudy will pick a few Northeast states, possibly NJ. If he holds the Red states his margin of error gets bigger and Hillary's gets smaller.
