What state are you registered to vote in out of curiosity?
I wouldn't be that quick to discount voting for an independent. The voting process of the electoral college means only eight or ten swing states even really matter when it comes to the presidency. If you're in a state thats solid to vote for one party or the other go for an independent; it really doesn't matter and millions of people changing their votes could still not make a damn of a difference. Independent candidates can really use every vote they can at this point, especially if the two major parties offer total dogs.
If you're in a swing state do a bit of soul searching; are you in New York? If Hillary and Rudy run, which way would NY even go? Still with a Democrat?
