It's a bit of a pity he would say something so idiotic. I saw him interviewed before he was sworn in (there was a big flap when he asked to swear on the Koran) and he seemed quite intelligent and well spoken.

Notwithstanding how liberal Minnesota is, this does not bode well for the re-election campaign.
