how could you do that with talent having sex outside the industry........even when it comes to HIV testing...people are infected days before it shows up on a test.....

unless talent is tested everyday...not sure how realistic of a goal that would be....

It's a simple matter of professionalism. If a girl or guy is putting it around outside of the biz with numerous partners (protected or unprotected...condoms don't protect against everything), then they are clearly unprofessional and should be blacklisted.

If a boxer or UFC fighter got into a fight outside the ring, and then was unable to fulfil their contractual obligation in a much hyped PPV title bout, do you think the audience and promoters would look kindly on it? What if the fighter gets a wound from a bar brawl 2 days ago re-opened in the first round of the fight and the fight ends on a medical stoppage? Not cool.

It's the same deal for porners...anyone who brings diseases in is going to end up costing their fellow performers money in terms of medical bills and lost work. Rooting out those who are incapable of conducting themselves professionally and are constantly bringing STDs in to the talent pool would drastically reduce the number of serious outbreaks.

Like I say, I think AIM does a great job (although I notice none of Sharon Mitchell's supporters in this thread have dared to grasp the thorny issue of her bogus PhD. yet), I just think that they could be doing a better one with a little help from a few people in the industry.
