The yellow couch: As a cult symbol it does definitely remind me of an altar where some sort of human sacrifice is performed. But instead of the freakish Christian version where they drink wine (wine=alcohol=drug use) which is supposed to be blood and eat bread which is supposed to be flesh (=cannibalism) the yellow couch sacrifice is much more meaningful. Semen (=the seed of life) is given as a gift in the spirit of an affirmative celebration of life, together with a golden stream (gold = wealth and happiness) from the generous donor. The "virgins" (= youth, beauty and fertility) go through a trance-like experience from which they eventually rise with cleansed bodies and souls.
