I have never had a fortune cookie in my entire life, even though I have eaten at various Chinese restaurants. Every movie or TV show you see, Chinese restaurants bring out fortune cookies at the end of the meal, but seemingly not in the UK.

I can't imagine how different my life might have been if I had received just one of these pearls of oriental wisdom at some critical juncture in my life, but alas, it was evidently not to be.
