If another HIV+ is found amongst the first generation then declaring an end to the moratorium "early" will mean a lot - like the end of Sharon's job, and probably the end of AIM. And that doesn't consider what the county health department may feel forced to do...
On the positive side I simply don't believe the 75% (30 day) anyway. There's nothing remotely that bad that I've run across at NIH or CDC. Since viral replication peaks within the 30 day window I'd hope there's something for a PCR/RNA test to detect, even if ELISA and PCR/DNA have a bit of a delay. But I haven't found the evidence yet.
