Why is it that my drugs always look so much better than the ones pictured on web boards?

A slight amount of white or blue mold on your mushrooms should be fine; I've done them a few times with slight mold spots on them with no problem (it *should* just be a common bread mold, and while a fungi, its a totally different type than mushrooms). The mold would decay the mushroom away if it were simply picked; its part of the natural process of decomposition. Just make sure they're completely dry and the mold on them is not growing in size or too large; as long as the shrooms have been properly dried and stored you should be fine. If they're wet or damp then shit can them.
