Debbie said her goal was to continue to remain a team player at RLD and a positive influence on new talent and employees despite the negative work conditions was she placed in. Everyone in the industry knows that Debbie had put so much of her life into her job despite the personal sacrifice it caused in her relationship with her daughter. This sudden termination comes at a time when her relationship with her Daughter Jewel De’Nyle had been estranged due to the manner in which RLD acquired her shares from Platinum X and her sudden termination as a accomplished director. Debbie decided at that time to remain with the RLD/Plantium X despite the negative impact it had on her relationship with her daughter. Jewel has moved on to become a well-known industry respected director despite the all of the negative press that was going on at the time of her termination. Debbie hopes to end the estrangement with her now that she has left RLD as well. Debbie has decided to join forces with other industry talent and form a company called “Generation XXX Productions†which she will strive to keep a high standard for the industry. +++ I think that should be Older Generation XXX Productions.

RLD is nearly out of business, not even able to keep their catalog available except here and there. This probably has more to do with payroll at RLD than anything else.
So you're suggesting they should've kept her on and sought underwriting from Geritol and Depends? 
As bad as their situation is, if what you're suggesting is true, there'd be a lot more whores applying for jobs at Walmart besides De'Bella.

Nope, probably should have let her go sooner, along with everyone else not in shipping, shutting the doors and selling the catalog once there aren't enough orders to pay the stockboy or inventory runs out.
Whores go to BodyMiracle, not WalMart (WalMart requires too much skill for most whores, like showing up to work on time). Everyone at RLD who might get a job elsewhere left quite a while ago. Mark Wood and Mr. Pete are their directors now (and the Russian guy if he's still around).
The most telling part to me about their situation is how many catalog titles simply aren't available if you search retail sites. Many older releases are crap and nobody will ever reorder but when you compare RLD/PXP against other studios far more of RLD's catalog is discontinued. These have higher margins than even comps so it's hard to reach any other conclusion from this, personnel departures, and general industry rumors that RLD is on its deathbed.
It might not be an accident of course - RLD's owner may have decided to get out of porn since business looks bad and may be taking money out of the company deliberately to start his next venture (wasn't RLD's start funded this way?). That's not a bad idea if he can run a business in the Real World.
PS. RLD lost rights to some titles in their catalog a while back - EE's lawsuit and such - so RLD is going to have some titles unavailable anyway.

JRV is bang on the money...the reason RLD/PXP were able to secure so many big name gonzo directors at their inception (including pretty much everyone at Anabolic at the time) was because they were offering sweetheart deals which included ownership. When the management changeover took place (David replacing/usurping Dion), then that approach changed, and talent became disgruntled and left, taking their rights/titles with them. Vince Vouyer has his own company now. Lexington Steele has his own company now. Erik Everhard and Mike John both jumped ship to Jules' company and so on and so forth. This explains part of the reason for the gaps in the back catalogue. The second part of the reason is RLD's early marketing strategy which allowed them to grab such a big market share...they punted out both DVD and web content for absolute peanuts just to get it out there. Oversaturation might be therefore be the problem...retail stores aren't going to order 'new' catalogue titles when there are a shitload of said titles out there to be had for cheap secondhand, or the scenes contained therein are plastered all over the internet.
