Why is it that every "professional" that wants to do business with people in the adult industry feels like they have to 'dumb themselves down' to our level?

The bottom line is that when you retain an attorney there is usually a serious matter that involves a significant amount of money on the line. You want the person you are doing litigation against to believe that you have 'ponied up' some cash and commitment, not to think that you're calling in a favor or trading blowjobs or $3 DVDs for legal services.
