This incident is indeed troubling. Benoit was a great wrestler but lacked charisma. I'm hearing from reports that it was caused by steroid abuse leading to paranoia and depression. Vince's wellness program is a joke. Chris Masters' was suspended when he failed a drug test. That guy was about 290 ripped and when he came back, he was 240. How the hell do you lose 50 pounds if you aren't juicing? He won't say shit to his top stars. If he did, maybe all this would've never had happened.



This is the type of stuff that Bob Costas was calling Vince on when Vince appeared on Costas Now. Roddy Piper said some things on Real Sports that got him excommunicated from the WWE for awhile

Exactly. Davey Boy Smith dropped dead of a heart attack at 39 because of steroid abuse. The list is long of guys dying young, whether it be suicide, overdose etc. No one wants their spot taken because your out due to an injury. So they take painkillers to keep on wrestling and then they are hooked and can't stop. Dane, your in the business. How does it look from your end?
