This Tuesday night (June 19th), on the WE channel (it's a cable channel, check your local listings) my mom and I are appearing on an episode of "The Secret Lives of Women" at 10 PM Pacific Standard Time. There will be a promotional teaser for the show on Insider at 7:30 PM on KCBS (Channel 2 here in Southern California) this Monday night. I am rarely on TV (I can't actually recall ever being on a show here in America) so I'm a little curious and nervous to see how it turns out. I do know that they had my mom and I do these kind of "turn to the camera" shots, (they call it the "hero shot") which I felt enormously cheesy doing. I hope it doesn't translate that way on the show. Anyhow I'm sure it'll be mortifying to watch myself on the small screen, so tune in and enjoy my acute embarassment.

I saw Tobi Pacific on that show on an episode about women in porn. Surprisingly it took a very even-handed approach. There was no judging and definitely not a Tyra Banks type way. I hope your voice is as sexy as your tomatoes.

These shots will probably be used for the opening credits within the show itself (i.e., not the 'Secret Lives of Women' show) to introduce you to the viewer. They'll probably freeze frame and put your name up, that kind of thing.
Hopefully someone will post it on You Tube for those of us who don't get the channel in question...

Holly: I took my first photography class when I was 12. Even at that young age I liked shooting women, and I don't know if that's just because of the environment I was raised in, or something genetic I got from my mom, who knows?

"Dad" Randall": It's not an atypical mother/daughter situation. There tends to be quite alot of conflict and competition. But, Holly goes in a different direction. Suze: The industry's changed alot. It's very acceptable now. It's really annoying. Everyone's trying to look like a porno star.
Holly: Our financial goal is to not go bankrupt. Like Dan said, it is all about how to MARKET it...and marketing is first and foremost about being FIRST, or UNIQUE in some fashion compared to others. The fact that Seymore already did a show entitled "FAMILY BUSINESS" does not mean the vein has been mined to exhaustion....Holly and Suze represent Mum-daughter dynamic, Suze is a legendary ICON in many circles and fields related to Adult Photography (whereas Seymore's mother was just some obnoxious-yet-funny jewish hag.)
I would JUMP at the chance to write for such a series concept (and I have several ideas already), plus lend my compelling presence and personality to even star as Holly's infatuated non-fanboy (who happens to be crippled, but in a very NON-crippled manner in that he excels at things most people totally suck at or fail...another UNIQUE feature.)
