I am pretty sure that Ashley Shye (links to IAFD), a.k.a "Trisha", was deaf or at least partially deaf. She had a strange lispy speaking pattern that you often hear in those who are hearing-impaired. In one video (which I don't recall) you could see her hearing-aid for a brief moment tucked behind her ear. She always had long hair which helped in obscuring it.
