Good to see the Tigers competitive again. It sucks they are not in the AL East anymore. I grew up hating Jack Morris, Tramell and Lou Whitaker.

The Tigers are going to be good for a long time now. They have a good young pitching staff. Andrew Miller is going to be a force and the kid they just drafted is a mini Verlander. Just imagine their pitching rotation a few years from now.

They lost their first game, but already Cabrera is making good in his new uniform with a homer. Guillen also homered in the game. SI is already picking them to win the World Series, which I'm not sure is a good thing this early on.
