A person of that ilk would likely to have contributed the maximum to ANY AND EVERY politician guaranteed to be elected - INCLUDING THE CITY PROSECUTOR.

I used to analyze the contribution data for the NYS AG's office and MANY prominent people - such as Donald Trump - even contribute the maximum to BOTH CANDIDATES of contested races.

I think it was much more likely he wanted to close the "side show" that is Paris' incarceration - and thought he could just get away with it.

If you're going to accuse him of being bought, come up with something more substantial like an offer of a nice high paying executive security "job" with the Hilton chain after "retirement" from the Sheriff's office.
