LOL, everybody's a critic. My tomatoes are fine-- I'm not growing them for the farmer's market, they're just for my personal use, and they're good enough for me. Of course I would love a more substantial veggie garden, one that isn't crammed up against a wall, but whaddya gonna do. I built it in the alley that runs alongside my house, and since the soil was crap had to build a raised bed and fill it with 15 bags of soil. I have a big bag of compost from my parents' ranch, but haven't had time to amend the soil with it yet.

But thanks for the last comment, that took the sting out of your criticism of my little round, plump friends.
