No, it is just a long overdue attack on producers of extreme content, and nothing more.

You do understand that to the religious moral right, kissing for too long IS EXTREME?

How can people be so naive?

There's a wider question to answer here. Max and others have pushed the envelope a lot further than the majority of pornographers. Mr Black and Mr Little have made a lot of money over the years and stuck their middle fingers up at the rest of the industry when they were called on it.

Rob irritated just about everybody and his accounting was every bit as extreme as his product. Why should "mainstream" porn come to the rescue or defense of Rob or Paul? Why should "mainstream" be tarred with the same brush?

The only answer, of course, is self-protection. You call this an attack on all of us. Well it is, but it's also a fight that an awful lot of people would rather not get involved in, but unfortunately have to. Proof of that was when Rob was given the Sturman award by Paul at the AVNs in 2006. If you wanted a public display of unity, that was it. But if you were there and talked about it, you'd know just how many people were spitting blood at the idea of it.

I don't count Jeff's material in this because I don't take a lot of it too seriously, and it's also his board. But he's a smart guy and knows when to push and when to hold back.

Some others don't.
