Its a matter of common sense. If you're stupid enough to go camping where dingos roam wild and leave your tent open, then they might take the kid....but attacks by dingos in oz are rare contrary to popular belief.

Jeff the case you're talking about was never proven, those parents went to jail for murdering their kid and blaming it on a dingo attack.
