Now Im curious.. why dont they link to DVD Talk??

In a perfect world, all databases would be as comprehensive as possible; just look at the recent improvements in the IMDB (which often has porn titles up weeks or more before the others). In the world we live in, there are costs to everything. They have to pay for server space and typically end up losing affiliate "hits" to the websites they link to; almost all of them having multiple stores tied in to their affiliate programs. DVD Talk has only one affiliate so anyone price shopping would likely find a lower price going through IAFD.

In any case, the basis for such linking is value offered with both sides needing to ask themselves if the amount of exposure or increased sales justifies the deal. I think the two sites were pretty close but couldn't agree on specifics so DVD Talk will just have to rely on being Google's favorite porn review website for now (and we only have ~27,000 different reviews so it's not like IAFD really gets that much more comprehensiveness for their website). It could happen someday though so it's always good to keep lines of communication open.

BTW, the conspiracy theorists that suggest ADT's connection to IAFD is the driving reason for this are most likely wrong (from what I know of the matter) and it is one of the best porn databases available at this time.
