So is Kurt the psycho or hell if I know?

I've had a few insiders tell me that Lockwood is not significantly crazier than many others in the industry but plays it up to get more attention. The idea is that any press he gets generates more interest in his scenes, elevating his workload and income. There are worse strategies for someone locked into their role in life so I really have a difficult time hating him as much as he claims. Jim Holliday believed he had a bit of acting talent (making it all the more twisted that Kurt would cause a stir at Holliday's wake) so it remains a possibility (he had plenty of opportunity to get in my face at this year's AEE when I stood two feet away from him discussing matters with Mr. Kenney and Cross so he can control himself when he has to).

The flip side is that when presented with opportunities to generate positive press, he tends to shun them. I offered to assist in setting up a charity event where he could go a few rounds with members of the press in the boxing ring (Margold telling me it was a shame that duels were illegal these days) but he declined; the specific charity could have been named by the winner too (be it the illness of the week performer, one of the organizations that does "good work", or even Jeff's legal fund).
