It's digital, so it's not hard to have more than one copy.

It's almost like the tapes from the camera at the end of a day's shoot: it's worth every penny you spent on the shoot. Except that the master, if it's your only copy, is worth essentially whatever revenue you expected. That's not a $5 tape, it's worth thousands, tens of millions for Hollywood.
