I heard on one episode a 21 year old guy was on his first trip ( and first time on a boat!? ). The pay was $50,000 for 10 days working 18 hour shifts but then they mentioned that apparently something like 45 ships are lost every year! The boat the camera crews travel on must be very seaworthy. It sounds great money but i'd hate to have that much chance of death
