I was a member of ADT before the PC police took charge. The new direction they hailed as being "better" was essentially designed to sugarcoat the realities of porn in order to encourage performers to join up and participate. In that sense, if Katja (whose performances have often struck me as top notch) and others are only seeking praise, she'd probably do even better by sticking to their own websites.

Gen's comments are simply strange since conformity is much more important "over there" than at XPT, and as far as the gossip mongers are concerned; I can just about promise you that the fanboys that appear to hang on their every word are more likely to read the gossip on Gene, Luke, GFY, and other websites than the people here.

If Gen meant that to be popular one must act in a certain way, say certain things, or participate in a given manner; I don't think she'll find anyplace on Earth that doesn't follow that dynamic. Otherwise, the likelihood that you'll hear what members REALLY think of you online is far greater here at XPT. I won't think less of any performers unable to hack participating here but I'm not going to sing their praises for sticking with the sheltered life elsewhere either.
