This man once went by the stagenane "Max Steiner", which I take to be a reference to the film score composer of the same name from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema. Steiner (the composer, not the rapist) wrote overbearing and bombastic scores for films such as 'King Kong' (appropriately) and the otherwise excellent 'Treasure of the Sierre Madre' (inappropriately). The latter was directed by revered maverick/hack John Huston, who in his youth hit and killed a person with his auto, rumored while driving drunk.
