There are some people who like being degraded, humiliated etc. I don't see anything bad in it, as long as it is consensual. When in comes to Max Hardcore I assume that there is no girl in the business that hasn't heard of him before and they know the kind of work he does and what his style is. You either love it or you run away from it as far and as fast as you can. I assume they wouldn't accept to work with Max unless they knew they love what he will do to them, or at least maybe they just want to try it out and are prepared to take a risk. I mean, he is so good at what he does. I haven't met one like him in real life.

Still, after watching some of his scenes, sometimes I am left wondering if the girls really knew all the particulars of what they were going to do with Uncle Max...

Id say its probably in the range of 60/40...leaning slighty more towards them not knowing exactly all that is involved. Since a good portion of max's girls are newbies to the biz, its reasonable to assume they dont know all the details. If youve never done a scene before, than how do you know any better? Plus, if you dont finish your scene, you either dont get paid, or get paid less, so that is a motivating factor as well Id assume. However a lot of them do know the deal, enjoy it, and come back for more, more than once even. Some girls even use "max only" names, trying to work with max, but at the same time trying to keep it somewhat secret...this may sound kind of rediculous, but Im of the belief that this actually works. I cant tell you how many times I saw a girl in a max movie, then saw her in another movie, and didnt know it was the same girl. Its amazing what makeup and pigtails can do!
