Nothing will happen to her. Every one of her cell mates will know she's a celebrity, and try and strike up a friendship with her in hopes that when they get out she will hook them up. Since she will be in county jail (as opposed to a state or federal pen) she will be with low level delinquints and lots of whores...she will fit right in.

She'll probably be segregated in her own cell, not allowed to interact with other inmates beyond the minimum necessary. There's too much publicity and money around this one for the jail to risk any incidents or Paris carrying outside any stories with her that just might be true.
The stupid bimbo was late to her court hearing. I wonder if things might have gone a little better had she not pissed off the judge before even arriving? That's almost as bad as having your cell-phone go off while the judge is talking to you.
And if Paris' mom doesn't learn to keep her mouth shut in the courtroom mom may get to join Paris for a few days.

LOS ANGELES -- Paris Hilton better like chicken. The hotel heiress was sentenced Friday to 45 days at the Century Regional Detention Center, Los Angeles County's jailhouse for women just south of downtown in Lynwood.
Inmates get three low-sodium meals a day, with dinner the only hot meal. Beef and pork aren't permitted -- "it's all poultry-based," said Capt. Alice Scott, who oversees the 2,200-inmate facility she describes as "a very nice place."
Like other high-profile Los Angeles County inmates -- O.J. Simpson, Robert Blake, Robert Mitchum, Sirhan Sirhan and Charles Manson -- Hilton will be segregated from the general population for her own safety, living in a one- or two-person cell.
Her cell will be Spartan: 12-by-8 feet with a toilet, sink and a window 6 inches wide. She'll comb her blonde locks in a mirror made of polished metal.
Breakfast is served between 6 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., hours when Hilton sometimes gets in after a night of partying.
Inmates in segregation are allowed outside their cells for at least an hour each day to shower, watch television in the day room, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, Scott said. There are a bank of phones that use prepaid phone cards -- cellular telephones and Blackberries aren't allowed.
There have been other celebrities at the women's jail. Actress Daryl Hannah, arrested last year for failing to leave a 14-acre inner-city garden where farmers were being evicted, spent a few hours there.
A year ago, former "Lost" actress Michelle Rodriguez showed up to serve a 60-day jail sentence for violating probation terms after her drunken driving arrest in Hawaii. She was released in hours because of overcrowding.
Sometimes stars are allowed to do their time in a jail of their choosing. In such cases celebrities pay a daily room-and-board fee to the smaller jails, which afford them more privacy and comfort.
Sean Penn found a jail in Bridgeport, a remote town on the eastern flank of the Sierra, to serve a 60-day sentence in 1987 for fighting with a photographer in violation of his probation for a barroom brawl.
Cop-slapping actress Zsa Zsa Gabor served three days behind bars in 1990 at the El Segundo jail near the Los Angeles International Airport. She paid $85 a day.
But the judge in Hilton's case wouldn't allow such an arrangement, so she'll head to Lynwood on June 5.

Predictions are now that she will become even more popular after her jail time, regardless if she stays there 5 minutes, one hour, a day or more. She will be able to add some "I went to jail"-mystique to her good girl - bad girl image. She is and will remain the queen of all "attention whores", you can't take that crown from her.
I'm beginning to wonder if this is not another deliberately planned publicity stunt. I mean, she did everything she could to make this happen...

And if she's late reporting to jail - hey anyone can oversleep, right? - the judge has said it'll be 90 days, and I have no doubt whatsoever he'll do it.
The hardest thing for her may be that for 45 days, starting after her booking photo, there won't be a single camera lens in sight, much less pointed her way. For the ultimate attention whore that may be the hardest thing to get used to.
It will be interesting. As one columnist said this is probably the first brush with accountability she's had in her life.

Paris Hilton is already getting a break -- she's going to serve "about 23 days" in a "special needs" unit, officials said yesterday, about the half the time she was sentenced to in her conviction.
Her sentence was shortened for "good behavior," which apparently includes just showing up for her last court date. L.A. County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said she'll be staying in a two-person cell reserved for "high-profile" inmates, and that she'll have at least an hour a day to shower, watch TV, play outside, or gab on the phone.
Paris will also be separated from the general inmate population.

I don't know why Paris Hilton's sentence made me think of calling Heidi Fleiss on the phone at her home in Pahrump, Nevada. But I figured I could, at least, catch up on the laundromat she is opening in Pahrump, just about an hour from Vegas.
If you'll recall, her version of a stud farm has temporarily taken a back seat to a laundromat near the Wal-Mart in Pahrump. Dirty Laundry opens June 10, and I plan to go to the grand opening with a load of laundry.
As usual, Fleiss gives an interview like no one else. I would say she got the better of me on this one. In my defense, it is hard not to look foolish talking to Heidi Fleiss about Paris Hilton. But it can be entertaining:
Richard Abowitz: Do you have any thoughts on Paris going to jail?
Heidi Fleiss: When she wakes up it will be over.
RA: So, you don't think she is facing anything serious?
HF: Of course not. How can you call it serious? When it is over she will meet her new best friend.
RA: So you don't think what she is facing is as bad as she may believe?
HF: Of course not. She is just worried about the stigma that will be attached to her: 'Oh my god, I am not an aristocrat now.' But I happen to really like Paris. I think she is awesome.
RA: Do you actually think she is worried how jail will impact her reputation?
HF: Probably. (This is followed by a string of obscenities invoking stories of Hilton's past behavior, alleged past behavior and present behavior in explicit detail followed by the general indifference of Fleiss to such behavior.) I am saying the worst things I can say so you can't write any of it.
RA: Is there anything you can say without an obscenity about Paris?
HF: Let me tell you, I think Paris is awesome. What I love is that if you take the really richest families in America, all those Fortune 500 parents who send their kids to Ivy League schools and give them the most opportunities to experience culture, their kids still all want to be Paris. I love that.
RA: Do you think her going to jail will change that?
HF: Of course not. She's spent nights in plenty of places that are worse than jail.
