I agree with you with the performance level of some female performers.Some are so beautiful yet are so very lacking. I have seen too much of that and for myself it becomes a turn off. The male performers are just as guilty of it as well. Too many times I have watched the performers litterally suck in whats could have been a great scene.

There's no reason why a girl can't have both, but you should bear in mind that this is a rhetorical question. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so too is what constitutes 'good' or 'bad' performance. Some people don't like girls whose performance (and vocalisations emitted therein) are over the top and annoying, some people don't like girls who are less extreme...it's horses for courses.  For me, looks go a long way though...I'd rather watch a hot, model/centrefold quality girl in a less than scorching scene than an ugly girl who fucks like a wild thing and does all the double anal circus acts and cumfarting. Given the predominance of companies like Vivid, Wicked, Digital Playground etc. (who most people seem to feel embody the hot chick/tame scene ethos), my gut feeling is that it's the same sentiment for the population at large too. It's a damned good topic for discussion though...!

I'd settle for girls who look like they are having fun, regardless of their looks. Unfortunately, that's rare. You either get the over the top girls who aren't enjoying themselves but screaming like idiots in a pathetic and lame attempt to convince the viewer they are enjoying the shoot, or you get the wet noodles who would obviously like to be anywhere else.
Is is just me or did the 80s have a lot of girls who really enjoyed their work? I bet if you listed the top 25 girls of the 80s, you could safely say that almost all of them actually enjoyed most of the scenes they did. Things began changing in the 90s and now its just a joke. Thank god for talent like Aurora Snow.

Needs to be an equal balance of both. But if I had to choose it would be leaned more towards looks. Who wants to look at some ugly whore like those on Lori Lust's website perform like a rockstar?????

Performance has to be the winner. Who really liked to watch Savanna sleep through a scene years ago?
