I like Mary and she isnt retarted or dumb. I met her last year at the Free Speech Coalition's Lobbying Days. We were actually paired up to walk the Capitol and lobby different legislators. They literally fought to make sure that Mary paid a visit to their office.

This year we were paired again and I got a chance to know her a little better this time. Howard, her ex, wasnt around riding shotgun.

Overall, Mary is a bright woman. She does know how to get media attention and Mark @ KickAss did a great job promoting her and teaching her to talk in sound bites. She is not retarded nor is she dumb. She plays it rather well though, but she does have issues and is currently in casting for Celeb Rehab which should air on VH1 later this year.

Mary is taking the rehab seriously and wants to use it as a way to get better. She has more potential to cross over than many other girls in the industry. She already has the contacts and knows how to use them.

Her image is stuck though and it needs to be seriously revamped. She is quite talented. She's friendly and outgoing and has a unique way of breaking down people's walls when talking to them and she does it disarmingly. She did a great job lobbying for the industry. She really was the only female performer there this year. She takes it seriously. How many "porngirls" would fly from Miami to Sacramento after feature dancing for 4 days just to talk to some old grumpy guys for no pay for 2 days ? I give her credit for caring about the industry.

She's going to be starting a show on PrimeTimeUncensored.com on May 14th @ 5pm. Im not sure how long it will last (hands clasped praying) because she will be shooting for VH1 within the next couple of months.

Perhaps we will see a "new" Mary Carey or perhaps not. Either way, she is entertaining. She might be a trainwreck at times, but she is not dumb.
