I'd guess that she went over to the "other" side based on financial reasons. How many of her "fans" here were buying her stuff these days? By making the move, she has a much larger crop of suckers that will fall all over her to buy her used undies, memorabilia, and praise her. I don't say that as though it were a bad thing, just the reality of the situation from an outsider's viewpoint.
