Given how expensive putting up a defense against even a POS suit is these days, it was probably cheaper to settle. I'm sure Vivid didn't pay her as much as she'll claim in the future but remember that you could flip the statement around and say that Kira wasn't so confident in her case either.



I learned years ago that, in civil cases, a trial is usually an indication of the failure of one or both sides to properly evaluate their case. That's why the settlement percentage for civil cases is somewhere in the high 90s.
