I've noticed that there are a significant number of people who are either fans of porn or in the industry who have an aversion to the PSE. I've never been able to figure it out. I've come to working theory that it has nothing to do with prostitution or morals. It has to do with socioeconomic status and the sacrifices made to be in the porn world.

On socioeconomic status, its an easy call. For a significant portion of the fan base its not possible to toss down $750 to $1500 per hour to make your own little gozo film with the lense cap on.

Then there's the people in the industry who have given up an awful lot to be part of the industry and have acces to the girls and sex in the industry. There is a strong stigma attached to work in the industry and it can probably never be totaly purged. So perhaps some people in the industry are offended that outsiders buy access to that world for a short time experience and then go back to Mayberry R.F.D. without experiencing any of the stigma.

Am I on to something or not?.
