First Off When I first found out that Darren James had tested positive I had called my agent and he said he hadn't heard anything like that so I had decided to call aim to find out for myself and they had said yes he was positive as of Tuesday morning when I had called, I was terrified for myself and everyone in this industry..
I have read all the rumors and what people have said concerning how this was brought in.+I guess it has been decided that Darren James had caught it working in brazil,,Which my thoughts has always been that I believed they shouldn't be shooting in countries where there is very high risk for catching diseases like this and people coming over here should be quarantined for 60 days to effectively make sure they wasn't bringing something into the industry, I believe this is the safest way.I am sure this is 100 percent safe but it is another step we should take to keep us all safe...Then a few days later I had learned that Lara Roxx had tested positive but when I saw the picture of her I was confused I had just met this girl like a week before and that wasn't her name{but that is not the point} I knew at the point this was far from over and was just hoping that I was safe and hoping there would be no more positives and every day after that I was hearing oh this girl came back negative and this girl did to But I was confused it had only been like a week since these girls worked with him , why are they testing so soon but who knows I am not a doctor maybe that is what aim wanted them to do ..I feel sorry for all the parties that are involved and hope nothing but the best for all of them..and just when I thought maybe their would be some good news I here there is another positive test, I started shaking, I really felt bad for these three people..I know we all know the consequences coming into this industry but as did you never think it will happen to you, I have heard that Jessica Dee is doing very well they say she has a great head on her shoulders that is great news to my ears since I have heard rumors that the others weren't doing so well...
I just wish the best for all and hope there is no more bad news
also I just heard about this for the unknown performers that are supposedly still working while on quarintine.I would like to know why you would want to put me or any other talent in danger for a few hundred bucks even if you think you are safe it doesn't mean you are ,I think this is retarded, I am not even on any of the lists and I have refrained from working, I have been getting calls everyday from people wondering if I can shoot and they get attitudes when I say no for the time being and I would think the people on the lists would have the same respect as they are more dangerous than me right now..why in HELL would you want to make a few hundred bucks knowing you could possibly be infecting someone with the HIV virus that is just bullshit in my opinion but then again most of the industry still live pay check to paycheck even though they make 15-20 thousand dollars a month which is usually spent on drugs or lots of shopping sprees which the shopping I do a lot as well but I make sure I have a saving so when things like this happens I can take care of my family and I don't have to risk other peoples life's trying to do it.I am just wondering that after all of this is over if the companies will be still shooting the people who don't res.pect the safety of any of us not even themselves
